CSTF Academy Helps G.I. Understand Spiritual Coaching and Spiritual Recovery

Addison, TX, August 18, 2010 — LCPL Alan Williams, recent graduate of the CSTF spirituality training and spiritual certification course, had applied his learning in a different way. “The old joke, there are no atheist in foxholes, is seriously taken when you are pinned down,” says Alan. “However, the general chaplaincy program misses all the needs out here. They simple can’t reach the spiritual needs of every soldier.”

Alan completed his CSTF Certification from the CSTF Academy during his last rotation home. The program which focuses on spirituality development based on the work of Reece Manley’s Spirit Thinking: Your 30 Minute Guide and Workbook. “Readers of the work wish to receive more guidance than a simple reading can provide, hence the need for the Academy,” says Reece Manley.

“It’s not unusual to see military people pursue helping careers after their tours. It takes someone special to be a soldier and sometimes they need to explore jobs that allow them to express and explore spirituality. On the CSTF Academy’s pro-gay advocacy, Alan only said, “I’ve learned the words humble and compassion through the CSTF program.”

Of course, Alan is not a qualified psychologist or psychiatrist after completing the Academy. However, he is accredited by the American Professional Pastoral Counselor Association via the school’s standing with the association. If Alan wishes to practice help people learn Spirit Thinking, increasing spiritual understanding, and going through the spiritual recovery offered in Spirit Thinking, he will need to be ordained through a reputable seminary. However, he could be offering the program professionally in as little as three months.”
